Wink

If TEK2 is £500 plus, say £150, for exhange unit, then a similar performance warranty-safe PPP ECU must be worth significantly more.

I disagree, the Tek2 offers more as an upgrade (260bhp on some cars). The standard ECU is worthless (who would pay 150? Its only that price when swapping so that people do actually exchange them... so a Tek is 500quid. The PPP isnt the full PPP without the exhuast and hoses, but still offers something like 240bhp.

So I reckoned that 350 was a good opening bid... :-)

You're right about the exhaust, but the bottom line is PPP is warranty friendly - other options aren't. And I suspect that's got to be worth a premium to some owners.

How's a Tek2 affect the warranty?
As I understood the Tek2 was undectectable by dealers....

Prodrive ECU would probably add a fair few extra quid to the value of your car though come time to sell , If I had the spare wongar I'd be interested.

BTT for ya anyway

Unhappy

Change of plans – I've decided to hang onto it for the moment but may, hopefully, be up for sale again in two or three months. I'll let you know!
