Driving Techniques tips for Handling Circuit
Right..
Simon here..
As I'll be driving this year, I thought I'd be a decent sport and offer some tips and tricks for getting the fastest possible time round the handling circuit.
First things first.
The fastest route between two points is a straight line.. so don't go round the corners. Just keep your toe in, and hold the steering wheel dead straight. When you get to wales, back off a bit, as they speed cameras are terrible there.
Secondly
Never change out of first gear. Many people forget that its all about torque and keeping the car on song. Well, the easiest way to do that is to stick to first gear.
Third Tip
To avoid over heating the tyres, make sure you stop at least once per lap for a minimum of 10 seconds and just sit there letting the tyres cool down a bit - this will ulimately improve your cornering ability.

Hope these help - although, of course, I'd like to be fastest, I just thought it was only fair to help everyone out as much as possible!

Your tips are severly flawed
If I drive in a straight line and stop every lap for 10 seconds, how will I know when I have reached the end of a lap to stop for my ten seconds, and Pie topup ?
The Speed Cameras are bad in Wales, but not as bad as your spelling

Fourth Tip:
Make sure you have a plethora of excuses, because when you lose after bigging yourself up you will need to use one of the fore mentioned excuses.
I don't really like this tip, but it seemed to reap rewards when John Felstead used this very tip last year!!!
Regards,
Shaun.
