Best Classic Upgrades
Afternoon!
I recently bought myself a nicely priced classic wrx wagon. I like it a lot, really nice overall car that ticks all the boxes really.
After owning 400+hp pulsars, and big power turbo corsas etc and having done all that i would like to know what is the best general 'upgrades' for a classic wrx.
What i mean is i want to make it a 'better' car overall. Its mostly standard at the moment with just an exhaust, filter and boost upgrade. Im after knowledge of small/good priced modifications that i can do to improve it as a car. Things like, uprated bushes/roll bar links? What is the best route to take? Its all standard at the moment with plastic roll bar links still.
I have secured myself some coilovers, which was my first port of call and the biggest expense for this car as the whole thing didnt cost me a lot of money.
My question is what improvements can i make to make it a better car? Other than the obvious service items etc, whats the best 'bang for buck' on these gc8/gf8's? It will be a weekend car, that will sometimes be taking the family out, sometimes be driven spirited by be and with the possible track plod in the future.
Im happy with the power, i dont need any engine upgrades. Im thinking more brakes/suspension/4wd/grip/the car as a whole.
Thanks anyone for their input.

Stiffer REAR arb, (leave the front one alone).
Solid drop links all round.
Anti-lift kit.
PROPER 4-wheel alignment....NOT done by a chain-type tyre place!
Better brakes, bigger if your wheels can fit them, or if you are going for bigger wheels.
If not, decent discs and pads.
Bigger wheels (up to 17's are good on classics) and decent tyres.
Uprated lights, and/or driving lights.

Tyres are the best mod you can put on a car. I've seen people who have spent £100's on bushes, arbs, stiffening braces etc but then run budget tyres and just slide everywhere.
