I agree with you there maz. That one doesn't have the rays, which quite honestly are a big feature on the s202. Brave auto usually deal in decent motors.

Thought it did. Joe had me questioning my eyesight. Also that I'd seen it before. 👍

You certainly have seen it before, in fact before the first UK owner took delivery.

can't see the appeal myself, it's still a bug, and one with a chav spoiler on, I appreciate it's held in some esteem but it's ugly

It's one of the cleanest Imprezas I've ever seen. Mint is an understatement. :-)

Yes, for a 22B.
Anyone who
really knows about Subaru will know this is a very special car.
The End.

Stunning, probably my favourite newage.... but would a 5K bug sti with 10K thrown at it be the better overall car...

Define better
The base RA Spec C car is stronger than a base STi. Defined by lap times probably not but it's the only S series STi that is a no compromise road going rally car which is ready for track out the box

I doubt it, there's more to one of these than £10k could buy at a specialist and come sale time the s202 will hold it's money. Over 10 years it will go up too.
Same concept as your RA vs a modded Turbo 2000. I know which i'd sooner put my money into, just a shame I don't have it spare at the minute because i'd be all over it like a dose of the pox.

Sorry my bad! Yeah it does have the rays, just the angle the photo was at I thought they were standard bug Sti wheels. I need to pay more attention!

Oh I'd have a standard S202 over a heavily modded STI every day of the week, I was just throwing the question out there for debate as not many people understand what an S202 is all about. And most (if spending 15K on a bug) would choose a heavily modded one over the S202 linked.

Having driven both cars I can state without hesitation that the S202 is a far better car than the 22B, it will easily trounce it in all areas.
Perhaps not most would like to believe or even acknowledge but the 22B is a flawed gem as quite frankly are all Impreza models.
The S202 isn't perfect and the looks certainly aren't for all, but in terms of a driving machine there isn't an area where the 22B could or would beat it.

dodgy looking advert - trying to sell it using presumably original import photos?
