I have just parked at my local council multi-storey and they have put the fines up again!!.
It is just 40p for 2 hours which is very good.
It is maximum stay of 2 hrs because it is near the train station.
I have parked there numerous times & it is only ever half full at the very busiest.
The fine for over-staying, parking without a ticket or parking outside the bay is £130.

The punishment should fit the crime.Why don't they have graduated fines.
£20 up to 30 mins late
£60 up to 1 hr late & the full wack thereafter. No wonder local shops are going under.

a few miles down the road you can park for free for 30mins so is ideal for popping to the shops.

 

Its an expensive business catching criminals especially when they are all bums and have no money after spending there benefits on drugs and beer.So the best way round this is attacking good people that work and can afford to pay ie drivers
