Default Blobeye rear arch lip protectors

I have a 2004 blobeye sti, now I dont know if there a standard part or whether theyve been put on by a previous owner but the car has rear arch lip protectors, the problem I have is that one of them must of become loose with the jetwash the other day and has now become mis-shaped, does anyone know where I can get these online or is it a main dealer jobby?? Want them asap as the arches are currently mint and dont want to subject them to our ****ty roads to sustain any stonechips. Thanks daz

Any subaru dealer can get them, they are about fifty quid each though.

I took mine off because they were somewhat flimsy & in my opinion may possibly cause rust to the arches because of the debris that gets lodged behind them.

I clean the arches out every time I wash the car & up to this point they are fine with no signs of rust. I run an 05 Blob.

Each to their own though!

I need one of these, but £50, stone the crows! May well do without, because as Tony says, they hold a lot of crap from the road

They stop stone chips which would be how most rusty arches start. I take mine off every so often and clean under them and grease them up.

As stu said, behind mine the arches are mint, take em off now and again to clean them and there fine, just must have caught it with the jetwash and not realised, tony- thought the 05 blobeyes had rear arch extensions or is that just the widetrack??

Widetrack blob and hawk Sti only, It was to accommodate the wider track and keep the wheels in the arches without changing the shell

gaz2293 is talking about the wider arch extensions on the widetracks. All scoobs have the rubber lip protectors.

i have a pair if anyone wants them some slight scuffing on top layer of rubber due to wide wheels, now removed due to arch rolling.

they will do the job fine and the scuffed bit cant be seen under the arch.

Just thrown 2 of these away. May be better than yours if you wanted them? I asked my main dealer about replacements but they could no longer get them. Just rolled my rear arches for bigger wheels so these will no longer fit my car anyhow!

Hi mate,

Dug the arch strips out. They are not new or perfect but always looked ok on the car.

If you want them i'll take them to work and get a price for Royal Mail shipping tomorrow.

Cheers. Andy
