Default Machine Polished + Lowered :)

Had a go at machine polishing today, used Megs 105 + 205. The results are amazing, got rid of all the swirls and looks great now. White cars are really hard to work with I find. Photos don't really do it justice. Its not perfect but im happy with it.

Got it lowered too with some Tein S springs, and also fitted some STI rear lights

photos are pretty bad as I used my phone - sorry

How's the handling now that its been lowered? I've got some lowering springs but from what I've been reading about them having negative effects, i.e. introducing more roll, I'm having second thoughts about fitting them.

Very nice, BTW

That's a great looking classic.

@Nick cat, I had some tein lowering springs fitted and a proper geometry setup done and the car handles a hell of a lot better. Before it was quite easy to slide it round the corners, now I have to really chuck it in. Although apparently a decent geo setup alone can make a world of difference.

With the whiteline top mounts there is more camber and the turn in is really sharp. It certainly helps with the understeer. I recommend getting full geometry setup tho, you really can notice the difference. The car feels a lot more planted and you can really attack corners
