For some reason everyone always wants me to sell my dam Scoob
They always say it's too loud, it's not a family car etc etc
Bear in mind I also have a new focus so the Scoob just sits in the garage for the odd weekend blast
And my argument is what is a family car? 4 doors and 5 seats, which is what my blob has lol
Anyone else or just me?

Yep I get it from a few people, my mrs dad is the worst, we've been together 12 years and he hasn't liked any of my cars, Toyota corolla, escort gti, Audi b5 ect, f*ck em, my dad loves the scooby though! I let him take it out yesterday and now he's looking for one to go alongside his 63plate Volvo.

So I can't see me knocking the Scoob in as my toy until I have something that can keep me entertained and put a smile on my face on those hot summer days
My excuse through this winter to the misses has been ah well when it snows you will be glad I have AWD... Never bloody snowed though did it lol

My wife tells me to sell mine on a regular basis, she calls it the silly subaru. I love my wife and will do anything for her and would happily sell my impreza......

The only people who suggested I sold my car were some of my work colleagues, but their opinions don't mean a thing to me.
My wife was gutted when I sold my Impreza, and can't wait for me to get the Evo.

My family have Impreza's too, My dad has one, my brother did have one until recently. Most of my friends have them too, Think I have about 10 people in my phone that start of with scooby and then there name after it, so im surrounded by them on a daily bases!!
My missus is the only one who would be happy for me to get rid, but you got more chance of getting rid of her then my car!!!!

I sold my tdci focus and went and brought a scooby with out telling other half all in 1 day had no end of remarks about getting rid of a sensible car for a toy. Then i remind her that it has 5 seat a boot so is still a practical car just not on fuel it ur heavy footed. Now I'm happy with my blobwrx as daily drive I've started looking for a classic as a weekend toy.

Yeah I do. Although I think it is a touch of jealously. When I got my sti the mrs was over the moon as I surprised her with it lol but she was chatting to the people up the road who said "well its not a family car" and "maybe he should get a sensible one" I went bananas when she told me what they said. As it is a family car its safe and got enough room for me the mrs and the littlen. Also I get fun too!! So its a win win haha oh yeah did I mention these people up the road (who have kids) went out and got a 2 seater rodster!!! Yeah proper family motor that!!!! Haha numpties lol

I love the fact my 03 reg is parked up in a sea of brand new audi A6/A7's at work. These guys in the main know nothing about cars. When will people get over the fascination with changing their car every 4 years? That policy was around when my dad used to have a cortina as a company car when if probably DID need changing every 4 years!! My scoob is 11 years old, 97k miles and has always had the ability to put a massive smile on my face on my B road blast to and from work. Never given a **** about the quality of the interior or what people who know nothing think! The engine sound, grip, brakes and damping are enough for me. What an awesome car.

My old man constantly is telling me to sell mine as its a "money pit." He is completely right of course, it is a money pit as I recon I have spent approx £70K on it (including buying it) since I bought it back in 2005.
Still not selling it though

Yeah I used to get told to sell up and cut my losses lol but after a couple of years and enough money spent on it to buy a small 3 bed house and buying loads of others to run around in they have finally given up and realise I'm always going to own a subaru from now on

My mrs hates my type r and calls it the jalopy but likes the blob wagon, I can see why TBH Type R is loud and garish and when I was using it for a daily it did get on my nerves a bit too, all the noise and kidney pounding gets a bit much when your just off to the shops or doing the school run, but get it on track or a b road and all is forgiven.
She's not too keen on how much fuel they use or how many thousands i've spent on the type r over the last 8yrs, can't say i'm too chuffed either, I don't do many miles in the blob and the type r is in bits in the garage but she still says when you going to get rid of the jalopy but I just say it'll be worth good money one day as it's very special and rare.

I had a WRX bug for a year that my Mrs used to love. I traded up to my STi and she's really not keen on it. I think her disapproval increases even more with every mod I fit.
Never mind eh?
