Just wondered if anyone could help me on here , recently my scoob struggles to start it just turns over for a while then fires up can smell fuel after it doesnt do it all the time its like its flooded but i keep my foot away from pedal any ideas ? Thanks

 

I can't give any mechanical advice but the people in the know that can will want a bit more info. It might be worth posting what year and spec your car is and if any mod's.

 

Had the same problem with mine, replaced the cam position sensor and seems ok for the moment, will see in a couple of days,check my thread on this.

Also been told it could be the ECU coolant sensor which can give funny readings and cause a "Hot Start" when cold.
