Default 1996 wrx

Once again I'm looking for another impreza and I've found a 1996 p reg wrx, did some of the 96 cars come with the coil pack on top of the manifold? And the straight top mount intercooler.
My old p reg wrx had coil packs and intercooler tilted to one side.
If anyone could clear this up for me that would be great.

Also this one has not got the aluminium bonnet, it's like a version 3 but i thought they came in on 1997?

V3 and V4 cars have coil pack in the middle of the manifold, V5 and V6 have coil pack to the right hand side of the manifold.
All Japanese imports have Ali bonnet.

V2 cars were built until August 96 and V3 from September 96. Being a P reg car it will most likely be a V3 car.

Okay that's great thanks mate, it must be a version 3 then and they've changed the bonnet and grill.
