Bug or Hatch
Hi all,
Been on for a month and thought it was time to stick some photos on. Got cars properly cleaned and here they are in all their glory. Gleaming!
Have had my bugeye from new; great nick after 116k mikes. Got bits for next stage of my upgrade for it - VF35, STI Intercooler and Injectors, trick up-pipe and NGK's. Fitting and re-map in a month or so, can't wait.
Got my hatch last year and it feels so much faster because of the extra torque but I don't have the same confidence driving it. Tremendous in a straight line so hopefully best of both worlds is to start thinking about a 2.5 conversion next for my bug. (am thinking the original engine won't last too long).
Love reading all the advice on here; excellent contributors and a tremendous forum.
Thanks all from a novice modifier.

Cheers! Lol.
Have to partly agree. The hatch had a fair bit of work done to suspension before I got it but it's still far too light on the steering. Having said that; it's tremendous on the motorways and the not-too-windy stuff. Brilliant for my commute to and from work.
But I have my bug for the windy stuff, it just needs a wee bit more power (well in hand) then I'll be sorted.
