2009 Subaru WRX vs STi
Can anyone tell me the differences between the 2009 Subaru WRX and 2009 Subaru WRX STi?
I'm looking to buy one and have noticied a massive difference in price. The WRX model can easily be picked up for £9,000 where as the WRX STi version I think they're at least £12,000.
What makes the Sti version at least £3,000 more expensive?
Any info would be appreciated. Currently have enough to buy a really good low mileage WRX example but wondering if it's worth saving the £3,000 to £4,000 more for the STi version.
Thanks

So the STi is worth saving up more for?
Problem is unless I'm looking in the wrong places the STi all seem to be £14,000+?
Can get a very clean low mileage WRX for around £8,500?
Thanks for the link, helped a lot. Sti certainly is better spec!

I have looked at the 2007 hawk eye sti's but one thing puts me off. The rear end! For me I just don't like it Also I'm not keen on the interior either, although to be fair only seen pics, never in the flesh and hopeful in the flesh would look better.

Before purchasing a STi check out the thread at the top on engine failure
And factor in another 3k incase it happens as that's very important
If your in a buget wait untill you have the necessary funds and allow a bit more for above
Wrx are pretty bullet proof and are still a fast car
Wrxs is a good car with all the bits in or a wrx with STi rear spolier and sunsport grills and tints look the part will be fine
