Default Who fancies a passenger ride in my Impreza WRC on Rallycar day

A friend of mine is doing a charity golf day where they are going to play 4 rounds of golf in one day in aid of Macmillan cancer support , I gave a donation yesterday and was thinking of ways to help them.

So have come up with offering someone a passenger ride in my WRC Subaru either around Llandow racetrack in South Wales , or better still on one of the track sessions on Rally car day in Castle Coombe in september

Its open to anyone who donates £20 or more to this worthy cause , I think just about everybody has been affected by cancer in one way or another

https://www.justgiving.com/raymond-h...nation-desktop

Some come on guys , it will certainly be a ride to remember , It won't be ***** footed around , I will drive the socks off it , so come on and dig deep

If you go ahead , send me an email to let me know who you are ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk , and proof of the donation , we'll put all the names in a hat , and draw someone out , if we get more than 50 people take part , i'll offer it for 2 people to have a ride .

Many thanks Ian

Can I put the wife in it ?

Perhaps after the experience she'll stop cringing and curling up in the seat and trying to push her foot through the bl**dy footwell every time she's with me.

Just one quick question Ian, just to dot and cross as it were - I presume that the successful person can nominate someone else, and is there a (lower) age limit on the passenger (and I'm not talking booster seats in case any wag dares to )?

PS really good idea of yours mate

Yes if you win you can nominate anyone , if I have a screaming wife I'll just turn the intercom off lol
There may be an age limit on rally car day , don't think so if going to Llandow , obviously with someone young it wouldn't get driven flat out , put a nagging wife in and I'll scare her whitless for you

Must have been doing something right, or maybe wrong to snap WRC spec wheel studs.

Yes it does work , pain in the *** when it's raining though as you get wet ! Would rather it not be there.

I'll keep that in mind , don't think it will be an issue as I think only a few people have done it so far

What proof of donation do you need?
When will you be doing the draw?

Hi Dave
You can enter as many times as you want , and you will get added extra into the hat every time .
Just email me copy details you get emailed through to you , it's also on the just giving page as well for me to check who's done it.
I'll be drawing the name out the day they play the golf game , think it's about 10th July ?? I'll have a look and check , but rally day is in September
Cheers Ian

it would do , but the car costs around £40 per mile to run when you take everything into consideration , but as i'm going to rallycar day anyway to rag it around the track , I don't mind who sits in with me .

I am also going to see if I can get out on the parade/mock rally track they do in the middle of the day , if I can i'll have 2 spots available to win
Cheers Ian

I'd be happy to be allowed to sit in and not go anywhere - it'd be a privilege. (I wouldn't be happy for long though..................)
