Default WR1's for sale

Just been having a look on autotrader and there's a wr1 with 45,000 miles for £9,000ish and one with 65,000 miles for £12,000ish and one with 66,000 miles for £17,000ish. Weirder than that the cheapest is for sale with Hurst who has a good reputation and could demand a higher price.

Could be a nice genuine car but a pity that it is not standard.

I would much rather have RB320 to be honest. Can't stand the baby blue on the WR1.

They got a nice rb as well ....

Get the point I'm with you I'd see the rb320 and be gutted when in a wr1
Other way round and I'd smile in the rb

If you take the colour out of the equation then is it not a better buy than a sti of a similar age.

Here's a link to it. I think these were nearer £30k new but still barmy money. Looks a minter though

WR1 for that money - that's mental and way over priced.

The Hurst Cars price is realistic. The others however, are trying to hook a stray one IMO.

Not a fan of the colour personally and £9k would get you a nice Widetrack.

RB320, although again IMO one of if not the nicest looking Impreza out there from factory, are a gamble if still on standard engines.

To put it into perspective there's a 7-yr-old T20 Hawk on here for 20K.

Which would you buy if you had that cash?

And that's before you compare the price of the other WR1's.

If it's a dealer I suspect there might be a bit of 'tax efficient accounting' going on.
Depreciation and/or selling below asset value keeps the bill down

RB 320's are nice but with all the troubles with the engine I'd never be comfortable pushing it hard unless it had an engine build. The colour of the RB puts me off due to being hard to look after.

A few wr1's have sold around the 12k mark just lately.

I think the one at hurst has part service history.

Girly or not I love mine.

"RB 320's are very nice and i want one but am not cool enough to own one I'd never be comfortable pushing it hard as its too fast for me and the handling is just something else The colour of the RB is awesome compared to my other scoobies i just cannot look after it properley ." This is what he meant to type jeez m8 come on he tried to amend it so it wouldnot cause offence to the RB320 owners but i better remind him which stand he is on at the NBO oh dear m8 PMSL sorry m8 could'nt resist

just stumbled on this thread.
the car at hursts has a very dubious past.
was a salvage car on ebay has had a knock on front.
the one at £20k might be mint but £20k
theres one on pistonheads only done 3500 miles and he wants £25k
£30k brand new so 0nly 5 grand depreciation in 5 years?
