Hi all. I have a 2005 still widetrack love it to bits!! Although this is my dilemma....
Just recently u have been thinking of selling it buying a cheap run around putting some money towards It and maybe buying a 3 door Sierra cosworth. Reason being is I've always wanted a cossie also be nice to have in the garage and use in Sundays in the summer etc. Also I enjoy going to car shows and the Ford scene is massive!! Where as there are no shows for scoobies you know what I mean? I love imprezas but not an overall Japanese car fan like evos and supras etc. Whereas the Ford shows have escorts fiestas xr rs cosworth etc etc so thoughts on a postcard please......

Id buy a car because I love that car not because of what the scene is like. Buy whatever car you prefer to own. Forget about shows.

 

Yeah you have got a point lol I love the scoob so will prob just stick with it. It's fun reliable and cheapish to keep lol I have a feeling even if I get a Sunday driver cossie it will cost a bomb to keep and maintain

 

A good cosworth is on my list of 'have to owns' . .

Not quite ready to give up the scoob yet though

 

like your thinking (if just for weekends) but you will have to double what ever you get for the blob for a good one, I think.

 

Yeah always wanted a cossie but I think it will be more hassle than its worth. A 20 plus yr old Sierra doesn't sound too promising when it's said that way. I think il stick with the scoob. Fantastic performance and noise and blooming reliable!!!!!
