What is your buying conditions?

I would aim away from a WRX or a glorified WRX if you can.

£5k is just short of a decent blobeye STI.

To be honest, I wouldn't buy a car that had an owner that would put a bonnet like that on a car. Sorry I know you said you like it but it smacks of **** to me.

Just be patient mate the right car will pop up soon enough, I know it's hard when the cash is burning a hole in your pocket but an Impreza purchase is something you want to make sure you get right.

That garage don't have a good rep for after sales service either, there was a thread on here but it got removed as a condition of them fixing a car they had sold to someone with numerous faults and were being difficult about sorting. You really don't want that kind of crap in your life as it will rapidly take the shine off your new purchase as well as cost you time and money.

Appart from that do you really want to buy a car off someone that doesn't do basic checks and make sure the car is in A1 condition or at least fit to carry your family in. I know I don't.

And what you doing looking at saloons, you have a family and a dog, give yourself a slap and get a Wagon.

There were blob .uk300's as well.

But that said, not sure why you would remove the airflow to the top mount?

And you can't trust a trader who confuses providence and provenance - what were they thinking?
