Can anyone tell me the type and quantity of bulbs needed to convert a hawkeye speedo and centre console to LED's or SMD's please.

I've done a search but cant find a post with the relevent T3/T4 or whatever bulbs are needed. I know the centre console has those small bulbs/holders that are grey but I'm not sure of which ones and how many.

Pics/details or a how to would be great.

I looked at this and I donr believe its a simple as a bulb change.

there are clips on Youtube how to do it, I'll post a link up later.

 

I know the sti red/black one cant be changed but wrx bug/blob/hawk speedos and centre consoles all have bulbs, I just cant find which ones

 

the centre console i.e. heater controls are not bulbs they are soldered in leds, you can resolder in red leds but there are no bulbs like the instrument cluster except the cigarette lighter.


i have been through the process of changing over to red leds since i put in the red sweeping clocks, you can change the i.c. spray and foglight ones (if you have them) but its not as simple as a bulb change, there is a guide on the net.
cigarette lighter is a bulb change as is ignition ring.


i know dave w has had red leds soldered into his hvac controls, although we both have late blob interiors its still the same as hawkeye.

you can achieve a decent colour change without removing the green, I just need to know what bulbs they are!!
