does this look like a genuine version 3 sti?
im asking as im not to clued up on classics,i thought the sti had the red inlet manifold?
i know there can be a few uk2000 turbos passed off as sti's so i wanna make sure its genuine

Looks like a gen sti. The red manifold, the paint flakes off over time, I'm sure the will be some remains of the red in places.

cheers buddy,ive seen a few with flakey paint like you say but this one has none left
its more body condition im bothered with as i plan on using a newage sti lump + 6 speed

Has the correct intercooler to be a V3, and also has the rear wiper, and aerial on the quater panel and wing badges too.
Advert is a tad miss leading tho? £999 bit says he wants £3250?

That looks like a very tired sti 3.
If the seller as scrimped on the advert by placing it in the £1000 or less category, just imagine what he has scrimped on with the car! :razz;
