sony units if satnav being best is important as they use tomtom

kenwood or pioneer for best sound - new kenwood base satnav doubledin with Bluetooth music streaming and fone is approx. £525 new thesedays

I paid £325 for a pioneer avic unit with parrot Bluetooth as I wanted a separate mic not built in the stereo as scoobys are a tad noisy to have mics in the dashboard - ebay and £300 should easy get you a nice 2nd hand unit ,, mine was only a few months old

If you have a smart phone look at the Pioneer Appradio, can use Navfree off your phone through the head unit

I bought a clarion double din with sat nav built in, been pleased with it only issue is the sat nav isn't as easy to set up as tom tom but then that's what I was used to, I think it is very similar to garmin though. I saved a fair bit by buying the model without cd drive as I never use them any more.

Does it mirror anything on one's Android? (I prefer 'MapFactor' to 'Navfree' sat nav, see....)

Also, does it have a built in DVB DTV tuner?
