Just curious as its had a decat and big air filter and god knows what else done to it and i know with these mods it should be mapped for them so is there anyway to tell if it has had a map?

Take it to a rolling road. That'll tell you what power it's putting out and also that it's fuelling right etc. or go the whole hog and get it mapped anyway. Never any harm and at least you'll know for sure it's mapped properly. I just bought an 05 sti and wanted to see if it was standard etc as I wasn't sure. I now know it's standard but a healthy 277 bhp and is running well. We did a rolling road day and it cost £35 to get the car on and took about 15 mins

The tester should also tell you any 'funnies' which would indicate a mismatch/non-remapped or a well tuned car.
Had mine done on a group day a couple of months back. Well worth the money (£35 as it happens).
