Second hand sports cat/downpipe buying?
Do I need to take into account mileage or anything if buying a second hand downpipe with sports cat (thinking Prodrive STI downpipe). Does the cat have a finite life to it?
Would I be better off buying something like the scoobyworld ninja sports cat downpipe new instead?

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/under-...erter-last.htm suggests they last for the life of the car, giving an average car life as 100,000 miles, all being good.
However things can damage it, so worth inspecting, if you can, and asking how many miles are on the donor car.
