Default Wet Snetterton

Hey all,
done my first wet trackday at snetterton last week and despite my initial anxiety due to the very wet conditions it turned out to be lots of fun. was nice to experience the full capabilities of my car/tyres in these conditions and i was very impressed

Looks like a good day, its all about the wet and loose ground with the Subaru anyway.

Good to hear!

What engine mods are you running?

Strange question, did you get any type of fuel surge? How much did you run in your tank?
Only reason i ask is mine surged on track recently with just under 1/4 left

Cheers

Yep, a swirl pot and an external pump. Nice and easy to do and can be done on a fully clad engine bay too so it wont take up all the room,

we fitted a 1ltr pot and external pump on the passengers side suspension turret because he was getting fuel surge/starvation, it works a treat and doesnt take up loads of room

Spec C fuel set up is the best solution apparently. Or keep plenty of fuel in the tank

Nice work, wet trackdays are always that little more nervy, but maybe not so much in a scoob! I remember mine in a FWD car at Brands Hatch, plenty of cars in the barriers and a number of scary moments! Worst on tracks like Brands with little run off, somewhere like Bedford wouldn't be too intimidating.

Just need to watch the last corner at Snetterton, that bloody great sausage curb on the inside is asking for trouble! I saw a Saxo get turned over by that curb on Time Attack a few weeks back, lost it coming in and went sideways over the curb which put it straight onto its roof. I know they need to stop people cutting the corner too much and bollards get wiped out, but not sure that kerb is the answer either!
