Default After help in terms of a scooby wing for a kitcar.

Been a member for years...and a heavy poster as we can see

However Im finally after the help of some members. Im after a wing for a kitcar im building and so far some scooby based wings seem to be ticking the boxes. However I dont know much about them in terms of quality, any good, functional etc...

A few images ive found of the style and look as you can see its a low profile style wing, as I dont want it to high on the kitcar clearing the roof line. I could be wrong when i get to see what it looks like.

My next question is is there anyone in the bmth / Poole area with a wing in this style? Id like to see one in person to see what size / look it has. As the internet never really gives that real life look.

Also any other recommendations from people (other cars too)

Looks like a nice build. Think that's an s202 spoiler, and genuine ones are rare and expensive I imagine. Might be worth searching a local forum for an s202 in your area.

Thanks for the reply, in the photos I think it's two different ones, as one looks adjustable which is the s202? Is it adjustable?

The original is carbon fibre and adjustable, perhaps the other ones a copy.

How about a BGW from Japspeed? Although it may end up looking a bit odd because it seems to be quite tall (although there's no reason why you couldn't make custom mounting plates to your own size).

That may work, ill need to do some measurements again. I have found a GT86 wing that has a nice curve in centre of the wing which matches the functional roof scoop shape... But measurements and imaging the look is the tricky bit! Could do with a shop that stocks a lot of spoilers so I can place them on the car when it's on the road.
