I think i need a new turbo and been told mine should be a td04 but the cars had quite a few mods before i got it so is there anyway to tell if its still the 04 on it? also how easy is it to upgrade to a better turbo?

 

Get a garret g5 shod go in no problem . May need to remap it . Plus I would upgrade the fuel pump. Shod say it on the side what turbo it is.
But if not, there are ways of tell my the size of thè port holes . I think / am sure .

If the car is a wrx then yes it should be a TD04, if its an sti then it will have a VF35

 

thank you guys, ive rushed in and bought this car abit blind but i still love it so im still learning all about scoobs, whoever had the car had put an uprated clutch in and short shift gears thing lol also apexi n1 exhaust so i think best thing to do is get the turbo off and see what it says on it
