Default She won't accept my scoob for free! Lol

Well my misses is about to do her driving test and my subaru basically sits doing nothing, so I enquired the insurance how much it would be to add her as an additional driver, jaw dropping £5 extra a month is all that is needed!

So I said you can have the Subaru to drive and she refuses! Lol

Says it's too loud (it's bloody quite now I put the original sti one back on), too fast and too big

So place your bets guys, if she passes I'm going to insure it and leave it on the drive and see how long it takes for her to drive it

No way am I spending £xxxx amount on another car when she can drive that for £5 a month

Ha 5 mins, I taught my wife in part to drive in a scooby, she said all the same things until she eventually decided to give it ago. At first she was complaining about it until about 15mins in and we were at a set of lights next to a boy racer in his corsa or whatever it was and she found the urge overwhelming. (We won )

When I got my first scooby, in 2011, my insurance wanted an extra £3k to put my missus on cover. I told them to do one.
Just one year later, at renewal, I asked again how much to cover the missus? £56 added to the year. Done and done I said
She was 28 at the time, had licence for 4 years and zero driving history. Her first car was my first 290bhp MY94 STI import. She loved driving it.

Then some **** hit us in the rear, whilst she was driving, and we had to buy a new one. This one is a MY98 STI import, running approx 315-320bhp and she still loves driving it, though is a bit hesitant still, poss due to crash.

Your's will soon start driving your car and enjoying it

You need to get a new Mrs
Mine used my impreza to run at totb, she was the only female competitor and loved every minute, did 20
plus runs on the handling circuit.

It was just a bit of fun, there seems to be hundreds of pics floating about of it on the internet and loads on the totb Facebook page too and even some vids of her launching with the l/c on.

My missus hates Impreza's in general, She has driven Focus RS's, Evo's etc, but she cant stand Impreza's. Probably because I love them so much that puts it her off them.
Trouble is she loves these turbo powered FWD hot hatches that torque steer and wheel spin everywhere!!

Well she passed 1st time on Friday! Jammy git!!

Insured her on the Scoob for an additional £5 lol, said to her right I will go get it (car is 60 miles away parked in a garage) she said ah no I want my own and went off and haggled her way round the garages and got a 2006 fiesta of all cars, I tried to sway her towards something like a Hyundai coupe or anything half respectable, but nope no chance had to have something small!

So will go get the Scoob later in the week and use that for a little bit and see if i can get her in the driving seat

Can't believe you offered a newly qualified driver (albeit, your missus) your Subaru to drive! And the jury's out on your thought that a Hyundai Coupe is half respectable
I reckon you've had a lucky escape with her getting that Fiesta!

My missus was driving a Focus RS after 5 months of passing her test.
She had more respect for the RS then if she would have been driving a cheap run about which is what she drives now and has no respect for.

When she had the RS it was cleaned/vacuumed every week, and made sure she didnt park to close to other cars when going shopping, the wheels where never kerbed.
Now she has a Fiesta TDCi and I dont think there is a straight panel on the car, the wheels are pretty much all buggered and there is a big gash on the side of the car where she hit a concrete post and inside the car its full of crisp packets and kids hand marks all over the window.
