Default Engine check light

Need some help on the way home had the check engine light come on oy when you are stopped then goes off when driving any ideas
Also stays on on tick over any thing over 1000 rpm it goes out

Done the blink test coming up as 22 knock sensor fault dose this need sorting ASAP as my daily driver but the engine check light has gone off now and not been on all day

I'm not 100% sure but the if the knock sensor detects the knock/detonation the the ecu adjusts as not to cause engine damage. It may be abel to be cleaned to fix but not sure,I'm sure someone more in the know will advise you,or have a search on the forum for knock sensor problems. Sorry I couldn't be more specific

Just seems a bit strange the check light is no longer showing ???

If the light stays off then I wouldn't worry if the car is running ok now. Did you also do the ecu reset to clear the error code? I have had maf error in the past and after cleaning the sensor,doing a reset all was fine for 5 years I had it
Things like bad batch of fuel can cause strange probems

Funny that battery went flat over night last night so should have reset

Still drive spot in pulls strong now noise what so ever
