Do i have the right to name and shame?
Very brief description but i bought a part off someone on here and when it arrived its not been working and also been told by other members its not right part anyway, got in touch with said seller and told send another be there monday at latest, waited in all day nothing turned up, got back in touch to be told this broken one would defo be collected today and a refund would be made, upto now no one has came to collect so looks like another day wasted but will wait till end of day before making it public

I'd wait a bit longer (but perhaps update this thread) tbh.
There's been an awful lot of threads started by disgruntled people where things don't end up as they initially look.
Seller might have a genuine reason for perhaps a week's delay - hols or whatever.
(Not necessarily saying it would be a good reason, but it could be genuine).
Perhaps pm them and ask if there's any reason why it can't be sorted by Friday ?

mate its not hard to work out who you are talking about just by your posting history, the trader in question is a decent enough guy as a lot of people have dealt with him before, my advice is pick up the phone first.

Remember that Scoobynet employs the concept of Censorship, so you could name and shame, but the thread may then mysteriously vanish when others comment....but i think you should anyway. Traders should be A1 with their customer service. Simple as.

I tell you what angel, you have the patience of a saint, you have had nothing but trouble with that car since you owned it yet you always seem so calm about thing, very polite in everything you say. Is it still the turbo that's giving you trouble?
I really do wish you the best and hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later mate

Sounds very similar to what happened to me with a trader
on here.
I paid for a part which when it arrived a quick glance showed
it wasn't the right part and was never going to fit, said trader
said he would send out a replacement, waited two weeks and
nothing. Contacted him again and had to explain the whole
situation again as I needed the part, he said he would send
correct one out.
Guess what happened, it never arrived although I did get a refund
but only after pushing it.

Any apology, explanation or whatever?

I think you should sell the original as compensation.
