Scoobie Newbie - clueless
Hi All,
I'm not new to forums or cars but I am new to the Scooby.
A couple of months ago I put a post on here (https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...by-newbie.html) about a future project that I have in mind and with just a handful of replies I got some great ideas and tips for it.
My next step for me was to get a Scooby, just a nice cheap one to learn a little bit about them. So last week i bought a 99' classic turbo 2000.
It is a completely standard one.
But I have some questions on parts and performance and what is the most commonly done. Im not looking at whats the best way to spend 40 grand or how to get 76794bhp out of the flat 4.. Just a bit of uprated components. Ive had a quick look and there are so many different types brands and models.. ive entered the 'new car minefield'.
So my questions are: whats the preferred components for:
Brake discs
Brake Pads
Tyres
spark plugs
ignition leads
coil pack
Air Intake
Introduce BOV?
Exhaust system
And also what would others suggest changing, uprating, adding, removing... whats your thoughts Scooby owners?
