as bove been offered this but when showing my mate he said its a fake as its got a gold actuator is that true? they guy who is selling said hes got a recipe but how can a merry up the both? it dont fill me with confidence either when ive messenger andrew via Facebook and hes seen the message/pics but not replied and hes also the one who said the vf35 spools faster then the vf34 so kind of lost credibility for him :/. ....

Answer:
Compare the diameter of the intake of the turbo compared to a std TD04, if its a hybrid it will be bigger by approx 3mm.

 

Intake on a std td04 is 49.5mm internal, at the opening and 41.2mm internal after the taper, down by the compressor wheel. Get the seller to measure it.

 

Your mate hasn't a clue.
All the AF turbos I've seen have had gold actuators.

 

As said on fb This is my turbo and its 100% genuine, I have the receipt for it and anyone wanting to inspect it is more than welcome, I also have the rr printout for the car at 304bhp which a standard td04 wouldn't do.
