A bloody rip off!
Downpipe takes around 2 hours to fit and cost around £300 for a sports cat version.
Performance Panel Filter takes seconds to fit and will cost £50 tops (not worth it in my opinion)
So, even if they charge £100 an hour for fitting the parts, that's £1200 for a map session.
I assume they are just using the existing ecu?

was it def only downpipe? for full exhaust stage 1 its about right sort of price within £100 or so.
o also 350bhp is a tad on the optomistic side (assuming sti with standard vf35 here)

Sounds like you have been quoted for a full, premium brand, exhaust system; eg a sports cat from Miltek is around double the price of a Cobra sports cat, the former being 100 cell, the latter 200 cell.....So not so far off the price that you were given. Post up what brand of exhaust and whether Ecutek or open source, and it will be easier to judge if it is a good price.
