Anyone in/near Hertfordshire with 450bhp ish?
Basically I'm thinking about making the jump from 350bhp to 450bhp but would really like to go in a car (just as a passenger) so that I can feel the power first, just wanna know if I think its worth it really?
Anyway, if anyone is up for taking me for a blast then let me know, got some petrol moneys waiting haha.

Haha well all I am basing it on is I went in my mates Skyline R32 GTR a while back which had 420bhp and it honestly felt like mine was faster... think it was just the power delivery. but still wanted to feel how much difference it felt before shelling out £5k+
Good shout about a local club though, will have to try and find one

450hp from a launch in an impreza is an impressive thing if you get it right, as brown pants said just do it LOL! It's way better than the 350 I previously had and that is an honest opinion

HI Sam,
Im in Herts and happy to take you out for a spin.
The jump from 350 to 450 (or 460 in my case) was quite different. Not so much in 1st gear but once you hit 2nd/3rd thats when you really notice the gain in power.
PM me
Mel

450 in a fat skyline isn't that much. 450 in a classic is probably the sweet spot for a classic on the road and makes for a very fast car. 450 in a new age is still very good, but you do notice the weight.
FB (now in a 560bhp classic which is plain daft, but previously had 450 ish for circa 10 years)

Cheers Mel, Have PM'd you
Fatboy - 560BHP in a classic sounds insane lol! must go like frick!
Basically I used to have a 320bhp classic type ra, which had a really short ratio gearbox (which I believe was standard) top speed was 120mph but boy did it get there fast, so I am now wondering wether to go 450bhp with a 6 speed setup or will sticking the short ratio box on my 350bhp current feel just as fast

It's a tad nippy
I have a jdm/ spec c 6 speed DCCD box in mine (P1) which runs at around 175mph @ 7500 rpm ie it's much shorter ratios than the later / forester boxes, but with the power it makes it feel like a 112mph 5 speed short ratio box
I don't see the point myself in the 200mph ratio boxes as I find the car begins to undress itself over 160mph anyway and , to be honest, that's fast enough for almost any track bar a runway or Brunters in the uk. I prefer bends.
