Cool

1 - 10% off parts and labour at a good number of dealers. if you have a UK/Euro car.
2 - Exclusive track days with great instructors available and at very competitive prices.
3 - Occasional other events, karting, treasure hunts, meets, generally with a subsudy available.
What else do you want from a bunch of volunteers (who do an excellent job) for £20 a year?
What do you get from Scoobynet/22B? Excellent resource for the exchange of idea's and organising more social events, I've met alot of very kewl people through both.
Are we spoilt or what?
Thanks to everyone who makes owning a scoob extra cool

SIDC- I get a sticker, a mag and some info on track days and stuff. I also get to go to one meet a year when I hear about it but hey, maybe I am deaf. So actually for me the SIDC is a £20.00 subscriprion to a Mag with some stickers. There is a BBQ this year aint their? I mean,10,000? members each paying £20.00 thats one hell of a parteeeee

Scoobynet- I get daily humour, pisstaking, the chance to meet some people and the chance to air my views on scoobs/life/women etc etc. I also got to met some kewl dudes, the list is endless. Tech advice too when needed.

22b.com. Informative advice, emails of line when you have a problem with your car (people willing to help) some great characters- Anders, Diesel, Lee, etc etc etc etc etc

And the RS Owners board, a vitrual copy of Viz daily (only kidding lads)

Rman

What do I get from:

SIDC - stickers, great mag, membership of an ever growing and great club, excellent trackdays and also, as is being proved, excellent social events. As for 10% discount, well, not much use to me as I'm an import owner, but that's not SIDC's fault but IM's hatred of grey imports.

Scoobynet - Much as RonaldoH has said. Best bbs I've been on. Plus there is scoobyshop, <I>'all the snacks your scooby could want™'</I> nuff said!

22b - bit quiet these days but they are there when you need the best tech advice going.

All in all, the best resources that a scooby owner could wish for. And it's getting better all the time!

I get a lot of help and advice, all the benefits you guys mentioned, and hopefully occasionally help people out with their computer problems (as I'm into the Scoob but not a mechanic)...

Thanks to all!

Simon.

I get:
Encouraged to by things I dont need for the car.
Nagged by the wife for spendin to much time at the PC.
A huge telephone bill
A Bo****king from the boss for surfing at work.
Dreadful fuel consumption from attending meets.
Tyres with an increasingly short lifespan

Worth every penny.

Talking

Pretty much agree with what has already been written. I do benefit from the 10% discount, which easily covers the £20 a year it costs to be a member of the SIDC. I'm also doing my first Scooby track day in a month or so

Through Scoobynet - I get loads of information, the Muppets and I get to go on some great trips - Nurburg this year stands out as a memorable experience.
I've met a lot of people, many of whom I now consider good friends - that's the biggest compliment I can give it.

22b has gone very quiet, but I do look in occasionly.

Long may they continue

Which won't be very long Bob me ol' mucker!
I'm sure membership will soar when on-line payments are accepted, as I know many people simply hate writing and posting cheques.
Me? I'm just thankful for both the SIDC and Scoobynet. They are both valuable commodoties in the Scooby community.

I did join SIDC some time back. What did I get? Oh some stickers and a tax disc holder gave them to the Nova lad down the road also gave him one of my spoilers so they don’t always steal them. Never done any track time with them found it easier to book with Easytrack. Had the mags they were always a good read and worth the £20 by themselves. I have not rejoined but I will do when I can do it by the WWW/net.co.uk

Cool

Hi Lee,

I have spoken with you on previous threads regarding the membership packs, one of which you stated that you and your brother had been and posted 150 or so packs and that must have been a month ago and i have not received anything.

As for posting a bit of abuse, you really are too sensitive if you find 'received *** all' abusive, its the truth mate, maybe incorrectly worded but i am getting a bit fed up .

Please return half my cash as i've already missed 3 months that has been paid for.

thanks Paul
