how much for a type r shell?

Default how much for a type r shell?

as above will soon be looking for a type r rolling shell to do as another project v9 sti engine in etc etc.... build up over a while have as a track car looking for one with no rust or not alot of rust.

just wondering the cost..

Well I sold mine about 2 years ago for £2k. Full interior no engine. don't know if that helps but that's what I got :-)

Seen one on Subaru swap shop on facebook. Think it was £1700 for a rolling version 4 shell.

thats not to bad i suppose been working on my blob for 12months now hopefully wont be long. really want a type r to sit next to it lol

Sold a white Version 4 Type R rolling shell for £1000 back in 2010

cheers jay. looks good know this one will take me a long while to build caged out etc buy be woth it in the end.. is it just in white primer or painter that one?

Yes think its just primed up.

yeah be a proper project that one be well worth it in the end tho... would have to be finished in a pearl white i think... 2.0 v9 sti engine running about 450bhp fast enough for a classic lol

A good place to try is with the rally prep firms much cheaper to buy a shell already prepped and painted thats what I ended up doing on my build

Good person to get in touch with would be Alyn at ASPerformance as he deals with a lot of those guys he might know where there is one also have a trawl through e-bay there are quite a few shells on there.

Might be worth just buying a type r and stripping off it what you don't want and selling bits. Seen them go for £4500

yeah still thinking about it securing a lock up atm to keep cars in so all depends on that

74f Boss Not the one at the top of the page think that's a custom colour. Thought you were talking about the standard type r sonic blue which is 74f.
