Hawkeye to Hatchback and vice versa.

Hawkeye to Hatchback and vice versa.
I have been the beloved owner of my Hawk STi (2006) for just over a year when the Mrs informs me she wants a dog!
I have been looking in to performance hatchbacks (r32, s3, STi) and have pretty much set on swapping the Hawk for a Hatch. Mainly due to the fact that a decent s3 is several thousand more pounds than a good hatch!
I was wondering which way you guys recommend going about it ie. Private sale or try and get a good part Ex from a dealer? There doesnt seem to be that many for sale, Hawk's or Hatch's. I guess its a small market.
Secondaly, if anyone hatch owners want to go the other way I am open to a deal and if anyone is interested, please PM for specs and details.
Thanks in advance.
Dave!

The thought had crossed my mind but a forrester would be to big for my drive/garage.
The impreza is a tight squeeze down the drive to the garage which is essential as i work away 6 months of the year and like to keep the car garaged.
Im sure someout there would fancy a swap back to a hawk with a few ££££ in their pockets!

Yeah I already had a chat to max about it but my finance company didn't like it due to it being a 57 plate and a import I originally rang about the white saloon but it was sold ,,,, the one I'm looking at is a really good spec anyway and has a forged engine like my hawk so no worries about the 2.5

The forester .....someone mentioned them and that's what I said are butt **** ugly , as it happens I will change my views....
They are the nastiest looking Subaru ever created ......I'd rather catch the bus than own a forester
