But if I wanted a v9 and had £14k burning a hole in my pocket I'd be putting it towards the pink Spec C RA at Hurst.

I agree, the mileage is a little high, although if he is talking in KM, then its actually very reasonable.
The problem with a six month wait is that I guess life can change a fair bit in that time, but he still modified it when it turned up to great expense, maybe its too much like a jet fighter for him
....I can see this going for 12K in the end
