Turbo Cleaner
Hi, has anyone used any turbo cleaners to dissolve and remove the black coating and build up over the years? I've not found anything in any motor spares shop for this Anyone have some suggestions for what works please? Cheers. :thumb

Have to be honest, I never heard of Mr Muscle being used on the outside, rather some people I heard use Gunk on the outside because its usually more dirty. However the inside of a turbo can also get caked up with carbon deposits and dirt over the years so what would you use to clean the inside? Still Mr Muscle? Someone told me they've used carb cleaner... ???

I found something to clean Turbo Chargers well internally to remove the black carbon and grime build up. Wynns Turbo Cleaner 200 ml from Euro Car Parts. You can spray this in a little at a time on tick over - don't rev hard! With a clean cloth, you can wipe around too. Works well.

I sprayed a full can of some sh1te I bought from the local motorist discount place into a saph coss, it drove like I had the handbrake full on for a mile and was spewing smoke out of the exhaust .
Sure it ran ok after that .....there again it could of been one of the many that I popped the head gasket on
