Hi there, I'm now the proud new owner of my first subaru it's just a shame I can't drive the dam thing anywhere yet as getting the reg changed to northern ireland plates is a nightmare.lol here's some pics anyway

I wanna change the alloys to the 7 spoke ones you can get.. there prodrive I think, and the front splitter.. but apart from that I'm tempted to keep it standard.. do you know if the turbo timers are a good investment on these models? The turbos are oil cooled aswell on these cars aren't they? I think I read that on here somewhere.. If not don't shoot the noob. Lol

I wouldn't waste my money on a turbo timer, just drive off boost for a mile or so

Mat the turbo timer is designed for when you finish driving, as when you have been driving hard you need to let you engine idle for a few minutes to avoid damage to the turbo, some people can't be bothered with this hence a turbo timer.
It takes mine about 4 miles in the winter to warm up, try to stay under 3rpm until your engine is upto running temperature, 1 mile your engine will still be cold. Unless your driving in back to back traffic jams

They're expensive as they don't make them anymore - can get replicas a bit cheaper. Though second hand ones seemed to be advertised for £500+, most of the time without tyres.

Cheers guys.. yeah she was hard to find and extra hard to get up from Cork..lol but was worth the hassle.. I tryd joining scoobireland but the administrator won't accept me? :/ or does it just take them a while to get round to it.. thanks for putting the photos up mate I havnt figured out how to do it on my s4.lol
