Default Frayed seat belt + windscreen washer not working

Hi does anyone know if a frayed seat belt is an MOT failure? The drivers seat belt on mine is starting to become fluffy on the edges.

Also the front windscreen washer has stopped working, the rear works, but when I press the button for the front, nothing happens - cant even hear the motor working? Had spark plugs recently, perhaps they disconnected something? Where abouts do I look if something as been disconnected? I checked the bottle, and the connections are all in properly on the bottle.

Cheers
Alex

Just burn the Freys off with a lighter just run it over them quickly

At the bottom of the washer bottle theres a couple of plugs . make sure there in properly. Is the motor making a noise at all. As that usually dies

washer bottle was probably removed to do the plug's to make clearance to get in.

Could also be blocked. Removal and a thorough clean does the job.

Seatbelt pass and advise, not a fail unless it significantly weakened.

Front windscreen washers, FAIL. Insufficient cleaning fluid dispensed

ok cool - many thanks for the tips. I have done the lighter thing on the seat belt to get rid of the fluff.

Will check for blockages on the front windscreen jets.

brgds
