Default no claims insurance

Can anyone help? Looking to insure my scoob in the new year but just wondering can you only use your no claims bonus on one vechicle? As i insured my van using my 5ncb when i didnt have a car. So do i no have to insure my car with no ncb? As this will be impossible as im only 25!

You can only use your no claims on one vehicle mate, although some company will ask you if you've got no claims on any other vehicle and if you have they might take that into consideration. Or could you not change the insurance on the van and use no claims on the scooby, would be cheaper to insure the van with no no claims.

Yeah as above you have to start all over. I went to my existing insurer and said I wanted to insure second car. Got a better price then I did on confused with just that car alone.

Some companies mirror your no claims bonus. Google mirrored no claims bonus for more information than I can give you.

Hi,
If you need any help with insurance please feel free to drop me a line. If you wanted to PM me nearer the time I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.

I just got my blob (third impreza) but I went without insurance for a couple of years so lost my no claims, I'm now insured with tescos, I paid £120 deposit and £62 odd quid a month been driving 8 years and I'm 29. Didn't bother ringing around as I thought that quote was really good to be honest, although I have been a named driver for the past 5 years on the works van so don't know if the company used gives no claims bonus to named drivers, might have to check but tescos is worth a shot mate
