Default HEADLAMP ISSUE??!

http://www.photobox.co.uk/album/2970806615

Hi everyone I'm having problems with my headlamp.

Left dipped stopped working and then noticed my high beam inner lamps were glowing even tho I didn't have high beam switched on, any ideas? I tried replacing the bulb but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Wiring error.

Have you just fitted them, or have they been on a while? when did it go like this?

Could be something as simple as a fuse, but looks like a basic wiring error.

Those type of Morette copies really are nasty.........

Hey, no these lights have been on the car a while and everything's been fine until now.

I just noticed a bulb was out other day, picked up some new ones, put them in and been like this since.

My Jag does this

...Check and clean the earths. You'll find its using the high beam as a earth path hence it glowing. That also inlcudes connectors, earth to the body, actual connectors on the bulbs and the fuse+relay terminals.

Thanks for the advice Ali, next dry day I'll have it out and check over everything you've mentioned.

This would only apply if you have changed a bulb recently. The fix would be to use the correct bulb.
