Replacement Wing Mirror Glass what do the Destination codes mean ?
I possess a 2010 WRX 2.5L with a broken driver side wing mirror. The glass is well broken and the clips that hold the plastic mirror housing to the electric controls are also broken. Because the clips are broken I do not want to merely stick another mirror on top of the existing mirror.
Using the opposedforces website subaru parts catalog I have traced the replacement part needed to 4 possible part numbers. All the part numbers start with 91039FG but the last 3 digits can be 020, 040, 080 or 100. The parts ending in 020 and 080 are "Destination code: KC" whilst the part numbers ending in 040 and 100 are "Destination code : EK". Does anyone know what the destination codes KC and EK mean ?. The VIN number on my scooby contains EK as the 6th and 7th characters - does this mean I need a part with "Destination code : EK" ?
Thanks
Steve
