BEWARE of A.S.B BREAKERS.
I recently bought 2 x prodrive seats for £520 advertised on here from the above
the thread stated they had no rips tears or scratches and would be supplied with seat rails!!!

i have just recieved 1 x prodrive seat with scratches all over it and no seat rail

The thread has vanished into ciber space and iam now one seriously fuked off scoobyneter!!!

PLEASE ADVISE ADMIN WHY IS THIS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN????

 

As they pay to sell , I been done by a breaker / trader on here

just been informed by the bank as the payment has gone through its now a cival matter and ive to get intouch with the the police

Is this a joke? The seats are getting picked up from different locations one got picked up yesterday and other getting picked up today with rails. Its sitting here wrapped and ready to go!!??

done that m8 the response was that the seats and rails were packaged separate,waiting on other tracking numbers for the other items but somehow iam finding that a bit strange surely they would be palleted and sent together as i only received one tracking number from ASB in the first place.

Surely you should be getting in touch with the trader to get all the facts and sorting any problems before calling them out as con men? That's just wrong!

If ASB had informed me yesterday when giving me the tracking number that it was for 1 seat and the other seat and rails would be sent seperate then maybe i wouldnt of jumped the gun but that still dont take away the fact the seats all scratched

 

also why did the original thread for the seats vanish wouldnt you think something dodgy going on

 

Part of mine and jamies agreement was to delete the posts he commented on. Plus seats had been sold. Thats why it was deleted.
Im sorry for not keeping you informed but the other parts will be with you tomorrow

 

Threads are removed in the trader parts for sale once items are sold .. Pointless looking at something that isn't there also keeps attention to what's actually available ...

doesn't matter if the items are in a poor condition though after being described somewhat better

 

i agree with you m8 i will wait and see what the other seat is like but the advert should of stated that this seat had scratches.

 

Ffs give the guy a chance, hes one of the very few breakers left that actually does send parts out and with decent prices, hes been in the breaking subarus game for years and also a subaru enthusiast himself, and its threads like this that can actually damage reputations to the point of no return and hardly fair, 99% of things can be sorted to conclusion through private messaging rather than plastering stuff all over open forums, and bear in mind most folk work long hours and are not sitting in front of a computer or screen waiting to reply to messages instantly.

 

This is one of the reasons this site is going to pot and most of the good traders are no longer on here or leaving.

Everyone expects to pay peanuts and get brand new condition and service!.

If you want new mint condition gear don't be a bloody cheap skate and buy new!!!

Used parts are just that USED!!!

PS when it comes to descriptions, one persons "Mint" is another persons "****ed" its all in the eye of the beholder. if you want mint then go buy new

I would love to see some of these members put under the same light as A.S.B etc and see how they do.

 

I have personally bought loads of stuff from ASB and found him to be a top guy and always willing to help, and the parts i have received have been spot on.

These days i don't sell a lot on here as there are just so many tossers who want everything for nothing.

Shame really as this place used to be a really nice place to visit and get help from fellow enthusiasts now its just full of keyboard warriors and idiots.

Ill get my coat!.

 

Where they sent insured for £25 like the turbo that never arrived?

 

Another thread on page 1 about ASB actually posting parts yet theres a thread on page 2 about another trader thats had somebodys money since august with no refund and only has one comment on it!!
