I have used colour magic on my RB5 and found it very poor, removed none of even the finest of scratches, left a very poor polish and a bit dusty.

Turtle wax Gloss Guard is a much better polish easy to apply and remove, little in the way of dust and a great result.

But IMHO the wax wizard wins! That is why I have just spent more than 100 quid as part of the group buy to get a second pack of his products.
The cleanse really is the best thing I have ever come across for removing fine scratches.

Give Mark the Wax Wizard himself a call and he will actually astonish you with his knowledge of paint and wax.( I can't find his number at the minute I am asure someone will oblidge or search back about 10 days and look at the group buy thread)

Andy

Question

Hi All

Just what is the best polish/Wax for the Scooby?

I am using Turtle Wax for metalic paint at the moment but am sick of all the white dust it makes when you buff it off.

Have read about the Wax Wizard stuff and this seems to get a good write up? How easy is it to use and does it make all the white dust?? And where do you get it, or are there other products out there.

Cheers

There is a line of waxes from Turtle wax that are the same colour as the car. Any blemishes on the car are filled in with the same colour as the wax.

No more white dust.

It's called "Colour Magic".....smells like starburst sweets too!! Lovely.

Only problem is, if you use it in the summer on a hot day loads of wasps are attracted to the smell!!

Cool

Autoglym super resin polish is the dogs proverbials. Use this first then apply the gloss protector.

tomsuts,

I used to think the same until I tried the wax wizard stuff, now the half used bottle of auto glym has sat unused in my garage for 27 months!
