Does it look the part or does it look like a diy job? What product/applicator do you use?
Thanks

I have used it and I've been happy with the results. Search Matt-pack though google that's where I get everything I use including the spray guns and product.

Don't know what the linked facebook people charge but I would
hazard a guess you could do it yourself for probably half of what
they charge.

It is ridiculously easy to do. I have done wing mirrors and badges
outdoors with the rattle cans and got perfect results.

If I can do it anyone can.

The trick is to do many light coats. Get yourself a can
and have a play, you will be surprised how easy it is.

I had the roof done on my stretched limo as it needed a tidy up. Looks great when done but has a tacky feel to it and you can't polish it to help protect it (so I was told) But now its fading I need to get it done properly with something different. Was a temp cheap fix.

Rattle can stuff is ok but it does not give a paint finish, this stuff does you can have a gloss or matte clear coat finish even metallic finish, and you can polish it.

Should never have a tacky feel as it has a clear coat on top unless was not done right.

I wouldn't rattle can a whole car although it has been done and quite successfully. Your best bet is the kits from matt-pack as linked above. You will get everything you need as well as some good advice(I am not affiliated in anyway by the way).

Most dipping businesses seem to charge around £5-600 for a scoob
sized car as a example of cost.

It was done using a Earlex paint spray gun. Thinned down to 60/40 (40 thinners) apparently and had 3 (I think it was) coats of clearcoat on top. Was there all day watching while I waited
It was a cheap job though tbh as it was only a temporary fix. Looking at getting it done in Tautflex for a proper job. As the roof is a proper vinyl roof and not off a roll
