Default Quick spoiler question.

I have a hawkeye 2006 wrx with standard spoiler. I would like to fit an sti replica spoiler.

I cannot seem to find a definitive answer.

Do I have to get a new boot lid too? I really don't mind drilling holes.

Thanks all.

Drill some holes on your existing bootlid if you're happy to

You can drill your boot to suit - I changed the boot lid as I was offered a genuine one with lid.

I would recommend getting the STi torsion bars for inside the boot. Because the boot will slam down otherwise with heavier spoiler fitted.

Do you mean when it's open and you're about to close it? That's not a problem for me. I'll just have ttove careful I guess!
