Default Hi can someone help me???

Hi

I have a Subaru Tommy kaira and was wondering if someone can either tell me if its worth spending the money on and what's its value is now please

I have recently put it up for sale so rather than me re typing it all I am going to copy and paste my advert

hi

here for swapz is my rare one off subaru TOMMY KAIRA edition. he is an american car engine specialist professional with a huge successful company dealing with high performance cars making each engine bullet and bomb proof. he only took a small amount of subaru's and did a fully refurbished engine with a signed plate for proof inside. this is one of them.

this car has been so well look after there is over £6500 in just receipts. as you can see from the pictures this car is one off without it being that special edition tommy kaira edition. it has:

Lightweight doors
Lightweight boot
Lightweight bonnet
number plate N555 TOY
full wide arch body kit £850
full apex exhaust system
piper cross induction kit
forge motorsport dump valve
tommy kaira ECU fitted
chrome slam panel, fuse box cover and dip stick cover
I.C intercooler spray
running 0.9 psi (under 1 bar)
cam belt changed recently
sti 8 front scoops 2 mini scoops and a roof scoop
sit high rise rear spoiler
roof vortex generator
clear side indicators
after burner rear lights with led ring
dark crystal side lights
more head light in black
17 inch alloys graphite grey wheels with locking nuts (were fired brand new to only this car with receipt)
eibach spacers £120 a pair
good tyres all round plenty of tread
turbo timer
boost gauge in piller pod
MOT's from 2006 until present

i have been told that the mileage is in kilometre and not mph so it works out to be about 78,000 miles

there are loads of paper work with it as you can see from the pictures a huge folder of them. power steering pump, window screen pump. cam belts etc

the front seats don't match the rear and there is wear to the bolster drivers seat. if you put the car into second gear and take it off load (leaving it in gear) it sometimes pops out but goes straight back in i have this looked at and there is a gear linkage underneath the car with play in it. this apparently will resolve the problem an easy fix for someone who knows about cars. the car doesn't struggle going into any gear and changes gear fine.

overall the car does need looking after and a good polish. i just find myself not having the time to look after her with a little one and working full time. i will be so devastated when she goes. she is a very powerful car and is mechanically great. she is bomb proof and is such a reliable car. i just don't have the time.

she just needs some loving

Any questions please ask as i have prob missed so much out she is currently tax and can also be insured as a NON TURBO but she is a TURBO.

Can someone tell me how much it is worth I am in two minds to sell her I have had a few people interested and plenty of swaps just unsure about it

It won't let me upload a picture will try later

No offence intended but are you interested in this car for the pound notes it will bring you, or in the ownership of a rare marque itself?
Therein lies your answer.

I think you should do a little more research about Tommy Kaira before posting an advert.

For starters, it's not an American engine building company.

I fear that you've been fed a load of tripe from the previous owner. But that's what you get with sites like swapz.

its practicall not a TK any more,
the Tk was based on the Ra model. but with bumpers and spoiler,
ecu, inertcooler and tommy k clocks. boost should be 1.1bar

body kit is an, aquired taste, so really depends on the buyer as to what they will pay, i dont think you would get 3500 for it though

thats is the big question and i woudl say depends on what you wanna spend and also condition of the car, if its good mechanicly and rust isnt a problem then go for it

The point I was trying to make was if you're not interested in Subarus per se then sell it for what you can get. Most people who own a Subaru do so out of choice. It's not a car to buy just because you need transport, if you see what I mean. If you like owning this type of car, whether or not it is a true rare model, then you'll make your choice about what you spend on it.
As the guys have said it doesn't have much left of the original TK options, but it still boils down to how you feel about it.
Do you like Marmite?

I'm after an import, but I wouldn't want to pay near £3500. As i'd have to send a load on stripping that body kit off. And putting it back to original.

If I was you i'd sell as is. Or put it back to original and sell all the tacky bits. To be honest you'd need a lot of time and effort, i'm sure someone who's not into Subaru's would love it and sure you'd get £2500 if has lowish miles

In all fairness, that car was first destroyed by TK, and now utterly destroyed by the person that did its current guise. I think its time to let it rest and go to Subaru heaven.

Or a facebook Subaru Swap Shop chav might snap it up for a oner and a packet of ****.

I wouldn't do either of those things to be honest.
Stick it on Facebook with the above description but say it's running 400bhp. Someone will give you a couple of grand for it
Then if you still fancy owning an impreza buy a good unmolested one and start from there.

Sadly you have been fed the usual guff about "lightweight body panels", only the bonnet I am afraid.

And sadly that is an Halfords Drive Thru.

Research would have saved a load of questions and disappointment.

Question - what did you swap it for?
