Default Thin sheet metal?

Hi all

Looking at picking a new car up in the near future and one of my options is a 2008 STi

One thing putting me off is I've heard Subaru uses thin sheet metal which is very prone to dings and dents? But these were cars from before 2000 and the Impreza was not mentioned

Is there any truth in that or do they really use such thin metal? :/

Thanks

^^^^^ agree they are just as prone to dinks and dents like any other car but what i would say is in black they are very prone to stone chips

Don't worry, if you buy the 2008 car you'll have plenty of time to get the dents sorted out while your engine is away for its rebuild....

Sorry, couldn't resist!
