Hi guys
I'm thinking of lowering my car as it on staderd springs and I don't like the look of it. I want to lower the car and give it a meaner look. What do you guys recommend.
Thanks

Talk to Peter at PCA dynamics.
He can supply a Prodrive spring and bumpstop kit with revised geometry settings designed for uk roads.
It will lower the Sti by 35 mm on the front and 15mm on the rear.
There identical to the rb320 in spring rates.
Just make sure when you strip the old dampers down to replace bumpstops you also clean out all the old grease and replace with some high quality stuff.

Why replace bump Stops? Only asking cos I replaced my hawk sti suspension with kit from an RB320 (springs n dampers) love the way it looks & it's solved the "bobble head" problem, but, if I go over a certain imperfection in the road at a certain angle it sounds like my rear tyre is flat as it hits it. It's not a nice sound that's for sure, so just wondering if it might be these bump stops?

The bump stop is actually a spring assister that helps progressive suspension movements.
On the stock STI the car sits on them causing the bobbing sensation.
Fitting lowering springs only crushes the bumpstop causing a harsh ride and slightly reduced bobbing.
By fitting the correct shorter spring assister (bump stop) and lowering springs you can improve ride quality and remove the bobbing completely.

rb320 springs - apparently intentionally softened for uk roads by prodrive.
