Just a UK turbo with fancy seats and a numbered plaque In my opinion. Can't see that they are worth that sort of money to be honest.
One sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago with similar miles, car made £6500 !!!!

I watched that car as well, think it's the potential future value that's driving the prices up IMO I could be wrong mind it has been known

That is very nice indeed. £8k does sound a little steep but considering all the work it's had done, you can see why it's priced at that figure. If an enthusiast is seriously interested or has been keeping an eye out for a McRae model, then they'll pay. Trouble is, the audience for a car like this is so minute it could take a long time to sell.

As these cars go over 20 years old we'll see lots of threads like this concerning special edition minters.
Not what I'd spend my dorrah on but it might actually be worth that, despite being a turdo with a sticker on it.

Wonder how nice the condition of it is under all that shiny new paint, if it was the original paint then maybe worth it, but you never know how much filler, fiberglass and paint that has been required to get it to that "mint" condition.

The guy selling the car is a genuine seller who has been a member on here over the years and has worked on my car in the past. Whether it's worth that much well as they say it's worth what someone is willing to pay.
