Just wondering if anyone is using the bf advanced I've just acquired as set and am currently installing them my question is the controller is a lot bigger than the standard defi controller and has no buttons as it has the separate button controller thingie . I'm just wondering where you guys have put the main controller..
Did u just leave under the pod or have u mounted anywhere also where have u put the button controls ...

I'm sure that will make sense to anyone who has the bf advanvced range but if u don't will probably sound like a load of ****e ...

I have literally just finished doing this myself.. what a ******* of a job who said it only takes a couple of hours

anyway back to question.... I put mine down the side next to my left knee.. and ive left enough cable for the controls to drap over the control box.. I secured the control box with sticky Velcro incase I need to remove for what ever reason.. youll notice it has 2 switches on the control box that you might need to access, for this reason I opted to fit mine where I could reach it.

it doesn't get in the way for me

 

Most of the time the control box has all the buttons on so would be mounted next to ur knee but obvs mine dosent from what I can make out it has no use and is too big to mount next to ur knee so am considering just putting it under the ati pod on dash

 

I've got the same control box for my defi bf gauges.. It looks same size as the older ones to me in pictures.. Do you have the instructions with the control box??

I've still mounted next to my left knee.. It's not in the way for me

 

I've got the new Defi control box it has a cable remote control. I put mine under the seat and the remote in the centre console.
